About the Program:

Junyan (Jenny) Si, a litigation attorney and specialist in contract and employment law from Shanghai, China, will speak on the latest developments in PRC contract law for this upcoming China Business Network meeting.

Jenny will introduce the audience to real cases, touching on prevention of legal risks during contract negotiation, addressing risk in contract terms, and litigating and arbitrating contract disputes. Topics will include protecting trade secrets, securing payment, and case studies in litigating and arbitrating contract disputes.

About Jenny Si:

Junyan (Jenny) Si is an attorney at Da Cheng Law Office in Shanghai, China. She has extensive litigation experience, especially in the areas of employment and contract law, and has handled over one hundred cases. In addition, Jenny acts as outside counsel for a number of companies, and has wide experience drafting business contracts and other legal documents, as well as designing and conducting legal training for corporate employees.

Jenny is also an associate professor at the Shanghai University of Electric Power School of Economics and Management, where she teaches courses on contract law, labor and employment law, and law and economics. In 2013, Jenny received an award for “Best Teacher of the Year.”

Jenny graduated from Shanghai University of Electric Power, School of Economics and Management, with honors as an Outstanding Student Leader, and received her Masters of Law from Fudan University School of Law, where she was honored as Outstanding Graduate of the Year.
